BellSouth Mobility Delivers BellSouth Wireless Email Service To Wireless Phone Display Screens - Company Business and Marketing

The same digital cellular phones that many people use to make and receive phone calls are now able to receive text messages and news right on their display screens, similar to a pager. BellSouth Mobility Tuesday introduced BellSouth Wireless Email service, which allows anyone with a touch-tone telephone or Internet access to send a short message (up to 150 characters) to a subscriber's digital wireless phone.

With BellSouth Wireless Email, a subscriber can receive messages without being disturbed by a phone call because messages are discretely displayed on the digital phone's screen. BellSouth Wireless Email also helps customers manage airtime costs, since they are never charged airtime when receiving a message.

In addition to text and numeric messages from friends, family or business colleagues, subscribers to BellSouth Wireless Email can also keep up with current events, business news and sports by receiving headlines from CNN Mobile.(Continue Reading)
