Orange Dominicana launches mobile banking service

Orange Dominicana, a subsidiary of Orange SA, and INSolutions, a U.S. and U.K.-based wireless CRM software provider, announced that INSolutions' Webcare product is being used by Orange to launch a new service that allows customers to do their banking via their mobile phones.

The new mobile banking service, the first of its kind in the Caribbean, is being rolled out by Orange to its 300,000 wireless customers. The service will allow customers to check their bank account balances, transfer funds, pay their Orange or utility bills, and perform other banking tasks via their wireless devices.(Continue Reading)
